These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Daniel LaRusso ("we," "us"), the developer of Marquee. By purchasing, installing, or using Marquee, you agree to these Terms. Where these Terms are silent, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Marquee on Apple devices that you own or control and that are signed in with your Apple Account, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. One subscription covers the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV versions.
Marquee is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly and yearly. The current prices are shown in the app and on the App Store listing before you purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of that time. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings. One tier, everything included: there are no advertisements, no feature paywalls, and no additional in-app purchases.
We intend to maintain and improve Marquee actively. While your subscription is active: (a) all versions and feature updates of Marquee are delivered to you through the App Store at no extra cost; and (b) we provide reasonable-effort email support for setup and troubleshooting at support@rrealty.us. Support covers the Marquee app itself; we cannot troubleshoot third-party IPTV providers, their servers, or their playlists, and we cannot guarantee compatibility with every stream format or provider configuration. Updates and OS-version support depend on Apple's platforms; very old devices or OS versions may lose eligibility for new versions over time.
Marquee is a media player. It ships with a short sample playlist and one short demo film, so the app can be tried before you add anything; it includes no channels and no other media, and we do not sell, provide, endorse, or recommend any IPTV service or content source.
This applies equally to any cloud storage accounts you connect: you are responsible for having the right to access, store, and view that content, and you agree not to use Marquee to circumvent protection on content you are not entitled to copy.
Marquee is sold exclusively through the Apple App Store as an auto-renewing subscription. All billing is handled by Apple, and all refund requests are made to and decided by Apple under Apple's own policies at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are unable to issue refunds directly.
If you add your own TMDb API key, Marquee retrieves movie artwork and metadata from The Movie Database (TMDb) as described in our Privacy Policy. Without a key it makes no request to TMDb. This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb. Marquee also uses Apple services (iCloud, Keychain) governed by your agreement with Apple.
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute Marquee except as permitted by law and by the open-source licenses of components identified in the app's About screen; not to circumvent the app's parental controls on devices you do not own or manage; and not to use Marquee in any unlawful way.
Marquee is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any particular stream, format, or provider will play.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Marquee will not exceed the amount you paid for Marquee in the twelve months before the claim, and we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, or profits. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These Terms remain in effect while you use Marquee. Your license terminates automatically if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these Terms for future versions of Marquee; the effective date above will change and material changes will be noted in release notes.
