Rinnovare InspectionPrivacy Policy

Effective July 24, 2026
Data collected None
Data transmitted None
Accounts required None

Rinnovare Inspection does not collect your data. The app has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Everything you record stays on your device until you choose to export it.

The short version

We do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share any information about you or the properties you inspect. The app does not connect to the internet to send data anywhere. Nobody at Rinnovare Realty can see your inspections.

The rest of this page explains where your information lives and what each permission is used for.

Limitation of purpose

Rinnovare Inspection produces a general property-condition record — a dated, photo-documented account of what the person using it observed. It is not a licensed home inspection.

The app does not evaluate building-code compliance, structural integrity, or the performance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other building systems. It does not produce findings of cause, fault, or liability. Where a licensed home inspection or an engineering assessment is required — by law, by contract, or by a lender — this record is not a substitute for one.

A report records observations and photographs. It does not certify the condition of a property.

What the app stores, and where

Inspections and photos

Inspection records and the photos you capture are stored inside the app's own storage area on your device. On iPhone and iPad this is within the app's sandbox and is not visible to other apps. On Mac it lives in the app's application support folder. This data is removed if you delete the app.

Exported reports

When you export a report, the PDF is written only to the location you select. The app remembers the folder you last chose so it can offer it again, but it does not save copies anywhere else and does not upload the file.

What an exported report contains

You control who receives an exported report, so it's worth knowing what's in one:

These are recorded so the report can stand up as evidence. Once you send a report to someone, that information goes with it.

Permissions

Camera
Used to photograph conditions during an inspection. Photos are saved into the app only — the app never writes to your photo library.
Photos
Read-only. Used only when you choose to import an existing photo. The app cannot browse your library or add anything to it.
Location
Optional. When enabled, it records where a photo was taken so the report can show capture locations. The app works without it. Location is never sent anywhere.
Microphone
Used only while you are actively dictating a note, and only when you start dictation yourself.
Speech
Converts your dictation into text on your device. Audio is not recorded or retained after the note is transcribed.

What the app does not do

Apple's role

Your purchase is handled by Apple, not by us. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us with aggregate sales figures that do not identify individual customers.

Separately, Apple's operating systems include an optional crash and analytics reporting feature that you control in your device settings. That system belongs to Apple, is off unless you turn it on, and is not something the app requests, configures, or receives data from.

Children

This is a professional tool for property inspections. It is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Your control

Because nothing is collected, there is no account to close and no data for us to delete on your behalf. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings, delete individual inspections and photos inside the app, and remove all app data by deleting the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
